The love and excitement people had for Bridgerton Season 2 was nothing but an indicator of how big the season was going to be. However, it is a bit surprising but also understandable what the show has done just in the first week of its release. As per The Hollywood Reporter, Netflix’s weekly top 10 list for March 21-27 reveals that the second season of the drama series after its March 25 release has had an amazing opening.
In just three days, the series has captured a viewing time of 193 million hours, which is by far the most for any English-language show for Netflix in its first three days. To add to that, out of the 93 countries where Bridgerton Season 2 was available, it secured a spot in the top-10 in 92 countries. It was only the Japanese who managed to keep it out of the list.
The series also has the second-highest opening of all Netflix titles. Only the fifth part of Money Heist has a bigger opening than this (201.9 million hours from Sept. 3-5, 2021).
