Sydney Sweeney has gotten a chance to work with a lot of stars in her career in Hollywood, which has just begun. The 25-year-old has not appeared in many typical rom-coms yet, but she did share a passionate romantic encounter with a hot actor on her breakout show Euphoria.

We are talking about the time when the Spokane native’s character Cassie Howard had a romantic encounter with Jacob Elordi, aka Nate Jacobs, on the show. Both actors shared the screen in the second season of the show after Nate broke up with Maddy. And even though their bond was utterly toxic yet passionate in the show, these actors enjoyed working with each other.

And even though they shared a very toxic bond in the show, fans loved them together, as does Elordi. The actor mentioned that they did not have much on-screen time in the first season of the show. However, he said that in the second season, he and Sweeney kind of became Bonnie and Clyde.

In an interview given to Entertainment Weekly Elordi said, “And she’s so, so good at what she does that it was just such a treat the entire time working with her.” However, this is not the only thing The Kissing Booth actor had to say about her.

What is the relationship between Sydney Sweeney and Elordi’s characters like?

While they are very good friends off-screen, on-screen, these two share one of the most toxic love relationships. Nate and Cassie, who barely talked in the first season of the show, develop an unhealthy and unexpected closeness together in the second season.

While they keep their relationship hidden from Nate’s first love interest, Maddy Perez, it all comes out together in the final episode of season two. While Nate’s character was a villain in the show from the beginning, many of the viewers have flipped their views about Cassie, who went from being a sad, sweet, lost-in-herself girl to a toxic friend and girlfriend.

It is so strange that the actors who live such destructive characters on camera are so sweet and supportive of each other in real life.

Meanwhile, Elordi and Sweeney will be reprising their roles in season 3 of the show, while their co-star Barbie Ferreira, who plays Kat on the show, won’t be returning.
