Meghan Markle is gaining worldwide recognition for her podcast Archetypes. Made under the banner Archewell Audio, the podcast is all about Markle inviting women from all across the world to discuss the troops that wrongly project women in society. Within two months of its release, the podcast made headlines by gaining a nomination for the Best Pop Podcast of 2022 in the People’s Choice Awards.
It also gained the number one spot in the United Kingdom, California, Australia, New Zealand, and other parts of the world for the first two consecutive weeks following its release in August. However, the former actress has often managed to upset her subjects back in the United Kingdom due to her statements and revelations in the show. The royal experts are not much fond of the Duchess and thus time and again they point out the negativity in her Spotify podcast.
Meghan Markle is bad for people’s mental health
Royal author Alexandra Shulman believes that Meghan Markle does not do justice to the theme of her podcast. Instead of uplifting the community, she gaslights the listeners by narrating her tales of success and projecting herself as a superior person. The author further added that the Duchess of Sussex is a bad influence on people’s mental health, as her world is extremely delusional.
“She set herself up as a leader of women, an oracle of feminine power, and a guide through the maze of prejudice that we find corralled against us, she then so staggeringly misses the point,” the royal author said via Daily Mail. Meanwhile, this is not the first time that a royal correspondent has raised questions over Markle’s podcast.
A few days back, Royal expert Neil Sean claimed that the former American actress is unmarketable and unemployable. Neil stressed that the Suits alum is doing more harm to her brand as she does not come across as someone trustworthy. He further mentioned that Meghan’s habit of coming up with different stories has caused certain hesitation among the brands to sign her.
