Sex Education has been one of the biggest successes on Netflix. For four seasons, the show hooked millions of viewers around the globe. The credit for its popularity goes to its interesting storyline, weaved with mature themes in the most beautiful way possible. Though the show ended, it did leave people with memorable moments and favorite couples to remember. Now honoring the end, the social media account of the show has stirred the internet with a thrilling suggestion.

The official account of Sex Education on X, formerly Twitter, recently dropped pictures of Otis and Maeve. It showed the journey both characters have had from the debut season to the finale. In the caption, the team suggested something fans have always wished to see and wrote “they should get married here”. 

Unfortunately, in season 3, the creators shattered all the expectations fans had of this duo. To the audiances surprise, Otis found himself getting close to Ruby, and they became the heartthrob couple of the comedy-drama. But the last season once again brought the former couple together. Despite delivering delicious bread crumbs for the Ruby and Otis supporters, it seems the creators had a different favorite couple.

While it may have only been just another post for the Sex Education social media handle, for fans it stopped time and made way for interesting reactions to say the least.

Fans demand a new season of Sex Education for Otis and Maeve’s reunion 

Fans rushed to the comment section after seeing this post to express their admiration for Otis and Maeve. While some demanded another season to make it happen, others said they were already married in their heads. According to them, they looked amazing together and the creators should have realized it before the show concluded.

Fans are wondering why the creators ended the show and then dropped such a teasing post after it. Especially as seeing Otis and Maeve walk down the aisle would have been the perfect ending for more than half of the fanbase.

Well, these are just fans’ opinions because they became attached to all the characters over the course of the show. However, Sex Education season 5 felt like one big emotional farewell to the former students of Moordale. From O making a public apology to Maeve moving to America to follow her passion, it felt like they all finally grew up. Even if their favorite couple did not get married, fans were happy with the ending.
