As per Variety, one standout is an untitled French thriller series, featuring Isabelle Adjani, which follows the gripping journey of a young mother thrust into the spotlight as the prime suspect in a wealthy family’s patriarch’s mysterious demise. Directed by Marie Jardillier and produced by Itinéraire Productions, the series promises to unravel a tangled web of secrets and connections.

Meanwhile, Amsterdam Empire, a Dutch crime series directed by Jonas Govaerts, covers the tumultuous life of Jack van Doorn, the mastermind behind a coffee shop empire. It will offer a captivating exploration of intrigue and drama in the heart of the bustling city. At the Series Mania event, Tanz disclosed that Netflix is currently engaged in the production of more than 40 projects across Europe, with filming taking place on the continent. Additionally, the streaming giant is collaborating with a whopping 400 producers to bring these diverse projects to life.
