Ryan Reynolds has a reputation for being the most hilarious and sarcastic celebrity in Hollywood. But there is no doubt that he is also one of the nicest and most big-hearted people, as we regularly find him involved in some new projects that help society. For instance, he did a public colonoscopy test so people can become aware of this deadly disease. Meanwhile, he is also a member of the direction board of the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research. The 45-year-old actor leaves no chance to help people and make a change in their life. A recent example of the same was when the Deadpool star unified the football community for this heartwarming cause and asked fans to join too.

Ryan Reynolds recently posted on his Twitter account asking his fans to help a 6-year-old cancer patient. In the post, he stated: “This is Leland. He’s 6. He’s cheering for @Blyth_Spartans tomorrow. I’m cheering for @Wrexham_AFC. But we’d both like to beat his cancer.” The actor also shared the link to find the match for the kid’s bone marrow.

Reynolds’ team Wrexham FC played a match against Blyth Spartans on Monday and Leland was a Spartans supporter. Even though the teams are competitors, as soon as the Canadian star found out about his condition, he went on social media encouraging people to join the cause.
Leland was diagnosed with MDS/pre-leukemia last month and his family has been looking for a match to save his life. Seeing the initiative Ryan has taken to save the lives of people suffering from cancer, fan showed their support.
Fans posted screenshots of their signups and the post was filled with comments from people asking for more details. As one user commented, “Done!! – hope I can help someone… thank you Ryan for raising awareness and prompting me to register … hope Leland gets the match real soon.”
Another fan asked the users to support the kid saying, “Done. In less than 5 mins. Go do it people of Twitter!”
Meanwhile, Ryan Reynolds also shared the post on his Instagram saying that their donation will certainly be a lifesaver for someone if not Leland.
