We are no strangers to Ryan Reynolds‘ passion for the Wrexham football club. Ever since the Deadpool star took over the club alongside Rob McElhenney, the duo has given it their all. Both Reynolds and McElhenney are extremely passionate about promoting Wrexham and their dedication to the club is commendable. Owing to the duo’s popularity, Wrexham now enjoys a massive fan following around the world. And recently the Free Guy star took to Instagram to leverage his fanbase, issuing a passionate plea to the Wrexham fans.

Reynolds has been extremely invested in helping Wrexham reach the top level. The Deadpool star is often attending various matches of his club to show his support. And recently, the Canadian actor took to Instagram urging the fans to support the Wrexham women’s team. Reynolds pled the fans to attend the club’s match at Racecourse Ground. Furthermore, the actor was all praises for the women’s team as he wrote in the caption, “These women have been astonishing all season. Let’s fill the stands with the spirit of ‘78 and belt it out for these heroes.”

The Deadpool star also referenced the year 1978, when the Wrexham men’s team had an incredible year and made it memorable ever since. Meanwhile, Reynolds lauded the women’s team for their incredible passion and dedication. The 46-year-old actor further concluded his caption as he wrote how the team had given their last drop of blood for Wrexham. Interestingly, the co-owners of the club would also be present in the stands during the game.

Meanwhile, it might surprise you to know but Reynolds and McElhenney are aiming to break the record for the highest number of of people in audience. In the past too, we have witnessed some very big names visit Wrexham. Previously, King Charles and Queen consort paid a visit to Wrexham back in December. In recent times, the duo has been bringing some major changes to the club. Not long ago, the club even signed legendary keeper Ben Foster as the player came out of retirement to play for Wrexham.

Supporting the team is not just something Ryan Reynolds does alone, however. The rest of the family does make frequent visits, like the most recent one with baby number four.
