Apparently, the project also reunites him with his The Office costar, Steve Carell. However, a few beats later, the actor extinguished all hopes and jokingly revealed that they are actually working together on a film titled IF or Imaginary Friends.
In his words, “IF is basically a movie about imaginary friends. And yes, they are these adorable, fun ideas that kids have, but really are also time capsules for all of our ambitions, our dreams, our hopes when we were kids. So the movie is about what if we could tap back into that?”
Additionally, the actor shared a funny story about how his wife Emily Blunt met Cailey and immediately approved of his choice for casting her.
When is IF releasing?
Fans have to wait a while to see the movie in theaters. It was officially going to release on November 17, 2023, but got pushed back to 2024.
