Why did Ryan Reynolds apologize to Blake Lively?
Ryan Reynolds was quick to apologize to Blake Lively after sharing a Christmas post. Ahead of Christmas, Reynolds took to Instagram to post a cozy family photo of himself, Blake, and Jessica Claus and her husband Santa. He captioned the photo, “We met Jessica Claus and her husband on The Polar express. She is everything I always dreamed of since I was a kid. She smelled cinnamon bun and sangria.”
However, Reynolds forgot to capture the whole picture, and Lively’s fancy shoes were cropped out of it. The actress was quick to point it out in the comments.
The Met Gala Queen is known for her fashion sense, especially since Gossip Girl, and makes sure to be on her A-game for every appearance. Thereafter, Reynolds quickly got on to Instagram story to rectify his mistake and put a story with the whole picture that has Lively’s fancy silver shoes in it.
He put an emoji over his own face, and wrote, “I cropped my wife’s shoes out in the photo I posted. It’s inexcusable and I’m sorry to anyone I’ve hurt with this callous lack of fortitude. Heading to the hospital to have my brain weighed.” With the song Creep by Radiohead playing in the background and tagging Lively in it. The loving and growing Reynolds family has managed to stay fun and light even today.
