Ryan Gosling seems to have had a change of heart, or opinion. The Notebook actor is undoubtedly of one the most attractive and well-liked celebrities in the entertainment industry. Although he and his partner Eva Mendes have remained a much-loved couple for a long. The duo first fell in love on the sets of their movie The Place Beyond The Pines.

The idea of divorces and splits is quite common in Hollywood. But for the duo that has been together so long, the idea of marriage was not even in consideration. Currently, there are speculations of the two being married, which comes as a surprise when one looks at Gosling’s thoughts from an old interview.

The love between Evan Mendes and Ryan Gosling likely changed his thoughts on marriage. In an old interview, the La La Land actor once said, “To me, that stuff’s funny”. Also added that “You have to meet somebody that you feel like you can go down that road with. I don’t want to just do it arbitrarily to say that I did.” The 42-year-old actor thought that the idea of marriage is something women think about since childhood, whereas men try to put off the idea of marriage for as long as possible.

On the other hand, Mendes also thought that the idea of marriage is ‘boring’, and despite being a romantic, she was anti-establishment. Mendes and Gosling have two daughters together named Esmeralda and Amada. They would mostly stay private about their relationship and not share it with the world much, but share tiny details occasionally.

But rumors of their marriage started spreading when Mendes accidentally referred to her partner as ‘husband’ during an interview with Today in Australia. Neither of them has formally come out to confirm the speculations, but the possibility of their marriage has made fans happy.
