Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are trending on social media for the past few days as Netflix has released the trailer of the much-hyped docuseries Harry & Meghan. The one-minute clip featured a lot of mushy and intimate moments between the Duke and Duchess. Thus, it is predicted that the couple’s love story will capture most of the screen time. However, the second half of the trailer saw the Sussexes’ eagerness in narrating their story.

The prince and the former American actress hinted at revealing what happens behind closed doors in the House of Windsor. The indication at Britain royal family has upset the Palace insiders. Royal sources have condemned the trailer for spewing hate against the monarchy. 

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have declared a war 

After seeing the Netflix trailer of the six-episode-long documentary, the royal sources have “reacted with horror and an increasing sense of anger.” The people close to the family are not happy with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s decision to make things public. Several insiders also believe that with the Netflix show, the Duke and Duchess have closed all doors of reconciliation. 

“I don’t see how anyone could view it as anything other than a declaration of war,” an insider was quoted as saying by the Daily Mail. 

Meanwhile, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are also facing flak for the timing of the trailer release. The crown servants believe that the American streaming platform deliberately dropped the clip on December 01 to outshine the Prince and Princess of Wales. Prince William and Kate Middleton toured the United States for three days from November 30 to December 02. 

The couple was in Boston to conduct the second edition of the Earthshot Awards. Though Wales continued with their schedule and engagement as per the original plan, the trailer was successful in overshadowing the main purpose of their visit. It has not surprised the sources as they believe that it was a deliberate attempt by the Sussexes to increase interest in their documentary.
