Royal Expert Explains How Queen’s Death Can “damage” Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Brand
It has been a rollercoaster ride for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle following Queen Elizabeth II’s death. Since their departure from the royal family two years back, the Sussexes have been in the limelight for their explosive interviews. Harry and Meghan have decided to commercialize their journey as working royals. They have a multimillion-dollar deal with Netflix to produce docuseries and shows. Meanwhile, the Duke is also coming up with his memoir.
The couple originally planned to release both later this year. Both the memoir and docuseries are expected to throw mud on the newly appointed monarch King Charles III, Queen Consort Camilla, Prince William, and Kate Middleton. However, the demise of the Queen has made the people sympathetic toward the House of Windsor. With so much love and support for the royal family, royal expert Amanda Platell believes that these are tough times for Harry and Meghan.

Harry and Meghan experienced a few rotten weeks
Amanda Platell is of the opinion that Harry and Meghan have experienced rotten times after Queen’s death. She particularly targeted Harry for his conduct in the past few days. The Duke was in the United Kingdom when the Queen was taking her last breath. He was supposed to fly to Balmoral with other royal family members to meet his grandmother for the last time.
However, King Charles III denied the presence of Meghan in Scotland. Harry wasted a lot of his time in convincing his father and thus he missed the chartered plane. The same resulted in him reaching after the death of the Queen. Further, the love and support for the new monarch has left the Sussex couple stunned.

Harry and Meghan are now trying to push their Netflix docuseries to next year, while the same is the case with Harry’s memoir. The couple is also making some last-minute changes to the publication to avoid any kind of backlash. Recalling all the aforementioned events, the royal author added that the Sussexes can cause a dent in their brand for any negative statement against the House of Windsor.
“The point is that such attacks, as well as any indiscretions about the Royal Family, could well damage the Sussex brand, coming so soon after the death of the Queen — even in far-away America, where their true currency lies,” the royal commentator told Daily Mail.
