Prince Harry and Meghan Markle dropped massive bombs on the royal family with two volumes of their Netflix docuseries. Despite the explosive revelations, the Palace did not give any reaction to maintain its dignity. However, King Charles III used a subtle way to equal the scores with his California-based son and daughter-in-law. In his first Christmas speech as a monarch, the King snubbed the Duke and Duchess.

Through his speech, King Charles paid respects to the late Queen Elizabeth II. He also acknowledged the efforts of his family members. The monarch was all praises for Prince William and Kate Middleton while the pictures of Queen Consort Camilla, Earl of Wessex, and Princess Royal were displayed on the screen. There was no mention of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle and the royal experts seem happy with the same.

The biographer Angela Levin believes that King Charles III did right by not mentioning the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. She is of the opinion that Prince Harry can not expect reconciliation with his father after calling him a lair and his elder brother Prince William a bully. In the docuseries, the Sussex royal mentioned that during the infamous Sandringham meet, his father, then Prince Charles, accused him of things that did not happen. Moreover, the prince also blamed the heir to the throne for driving him away from the royal family. 

Further, the royal expert also slammed the docuseries, Harry & Meghan. She did not mince any words while calling out the Sussexes for their controversial Netflix show. As per Angela Levin, following the release of the six episodes, the Duke and Duchess have lost all the respect people had for them. 

“The Duke and Duchess of Sussex realize this is ridiculous. If you say somebody on an airplane comes and sits next to you and says, ‘Thank you so much for all you’ve done for this country’… it’s a load of nonsense,” Levin added while speaking to the host Mike Graham on Talk TV.
