The fairies are officially leaving their magical high school! Not because they are already done living their high school dream or are entering a new chapter of their wizardly saga, but because Netflix canceled yet another fan-favorite show, Fate: The Winx Saga after its two much-loved seasons. And amidst all the chaos in the fairyland, fans came together to protect Riverdale as some take a sly jibe at the OTT platform to renew it for the 7 season.

For those who are not aware, this Netflix Original fantasy series is a live-action adaptation of Nickelodeon anime. Created by Iginio Straffi, it sees a few fairy friends attending high school together as they struggle to master their magic, learn to navigate their friendships and rivalries, and fight deadly monsters who wish nothing but to feed on their lives. Although fans showed a positive response to the existing seasons 1 and 2 of the series, the OTT platform once again showed its notorious habit. They slashed the strings to the fairy world from here onwards.

As a response to this unexpected random Tuesday morning decision, Riverdale fanatics protect the show as some call out the streaming giant to renew it but cancel yet another “authentic” drama.

Apparently, three months after the show’s second season debuted, writer Brian Young reported on his social media handles that Netflix has forever sealed answers to the finale’s cliffhangers. Furious fans did not even wait for a second to vent out their anger on Twitter. While many attacked Netflix to renew other shows, Riverdale fans did not shy away from protecting it from such attacks.

They firmly explained that Riverdale is not a Netflix Original and people should not make its comparison to other shows.

Some fans assert people need to “learn to appreciate the show” instead of being childish.
