Dan Harmon recently sat down with The Hollywood Reporter to talk about his iconic show Rick and Morty. He disclosed that Zack Snyder once invited him to Warner Bros. to talk about a possible Rick and Morty movie. The Justice League director is a huge fan of the sitcom and wanted to give a helping hand in expanding this franchise with his Snyder-ness. The 50-year-old admired the way he showed an interest in the potential film and joked that they would make a movie when Snyder returns from his vacation.

He continued to describe that he would like to start with the famous Sydner cut and then do the director’s cut for release. “So we can just have a six-hour Rick and Morty movie and three hours of it is in black and white,” added the American writer. Though they have not outlined all the things about the project, Harmon talked to the company’s executives. After meeting them, he feels they can work on it because everyone agreed to the idea.

Rick and Morty season 7 will pick right from where it left off in the last installment. The duo of a mad scientist and his fretful grandson will go on a quest to find and take revenge on Rick Prime. The official trailer of the season teased how they will explore the crevices of the galaxy and revel in more mayhem. But this time fans will hear them with fresh voices after the exit of Justin Roiland. Adum Sum fired the star in early 2023 following allegations of domestic abuse, which eventually dropped.

However, the team featured new voice actors in the roles of the titular characters. The voice cast who will reprise their roles include Spencer Grammer, Chris Parnell, and Sarah Chalke. The show will be released worldwide on October 15, so fans should clear out their schedules to not miss out on new adventures the grandfather-grandson duo will embark on.
