Millie Bobby Brown— as crazy as it may sound to a Stranger Things fan— is now a married woman. Fans have seen her grow up right before their eyes, starting out as a shaved-headed girl and turning into the woman we know today. But even today, they often find themselves looking back at her teenage moments, those carefree days when she was both unfiltered and effortlessly hilarious. In one of those refreshingly candid moments, seven years ago, Brown shared her dream Stranger Things cast, and it was none other than Leonardo DiCaprio.

Brown invited DiCaprio to join the Netflix show, offering him a pretty interesting role connected to Eleven.

Millie Bobby Brown is a massive fan of Leonardo DiCaprio, and she has made that pretty clear over the years. Her admiration for him is so intense that she even dreamt of working alongside him on Stranger Things, and she has thought about a role too. Back in 2018, during the closing ceremony of the Cannes International Film Festival, she told reporters that she would love to see DiCaprio join the cast as Eleven's long-lost older brother. “I have already made a storyline. Leo, if you want to be in Stranger Things, here’s the contract," she said with a smile.

This is just one example of times she has openly fangirled over DiCaprio. From wanting to dress up as the Titanic star for Halloween to dreaming of getting a tattoo of him, Brown has made her feelings for the actor well known. Whether or not Stranger Things could actually bring DiCaprio on board still seems like a long shot—at least for the original season—but there are spinoffs already in the pipeline, and fans are very excited about the potential cast.

Six actors from the main show, in particular, are eager to stick around in the franchise for the spinoffs if their characters survive the epic showdown in season 5.

Stranger Things cast who would like to return for a spinoff

A few actors from Stranger Things have openly said they would be interested in a spinoff of the show. This group includes Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Sadie Sink, Charlie Heaton, Natalia Dyer, and Maya Hawke. During the promotional events for season 4, both Wolfhard and Heaton supported the idea of a spinoff and also agreed that it would only be exciting if there were a significant time jump involved. Meanwhile, Gaten Matarazzo told Radio Times that though he would up for a spinoff, it should not happen right away.

Meanwhile, Sadie Sink has made it clear that she is not ready to leave Stranger Things behind just yet. As for Maya Hawke and Natalia Dyer, they have a few conditions. Dyer mentioned that she would only join if the Duffer Brothers were in charge, as she told Cosmopolitan. Hawke, on the other hand, said in Rolling Stone that she would only be interested if Joe Keery’s character, Steve Harrington, is involved. In short, while there is definitely interest among the cast for a spinoff, it seems like everyone has their own thoughts on what it should look like.
