How would you feel if your favorite game would be made into a television show? Well, fans of Resident Evil don’t seem to be very pleased with the upcoming adaptation  Netflix recently revealed the details of its upcoming Netflix original live-action series Resident Evil on Netflix Geeked Week 2022. The series is based on a game of the same name, launched in 1996, and since then, it has had various video game sequels, novels, and a popular movie franchise. Netflix reveals the details of the series, which has several monsters. The trailer reveals two plots unravelling simultaneously. One follows the lives of Jade and Billie Wesker, and the second focuses on the Umbrella Corporation experiments with DNA, bugs, blood, and beyond. It seems that the showmakers have tried to bring the essence of the original game but somehow couldn’t keep their instincts of giving its own creative twist to it away. While the tone of the show seems intense and serious, which includes bloodshed and suffering, it doesn’t have just zombies. The trailer exposes zombie dogs, and giant spiders, too, just like the original has.

After watching the trailer, fans have reacted to the plot, setting, and characters as well.

Fans have mixed reactions to the show. Some are thrilled about the series coming out while others are disappointed. They expected the setting for the zombies to be claustrophobic, and not worldwide.
