“Relatively normal life” Is What Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Wanted for Son Archie
Contrary to the real-life present scenario, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle always wanted to be away from the media play and the limelight. Having claimed the same quite a few times in the Netflix bombshell docuseries, the Duke and Duchess took the bold step of distancing themselves from the Monarchy and its ways. Having taken the hits for their decisions on all ends, they wanted to shield their kids from the same.
More than the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle who lived her life in sunny California, Prince Harry knows what it takes to be a Prince in the royal household. Having had a neglected childhood and controversial life as a grown-up, Prince Harry along with Markle had wished something entirely different for their eldest, Archie.

Back in 2018, when the Duchess of Sussex conceived for the first time before things started to go south, she and her husband dreamt of a simple for their baby. “They want Archie to have a relatively normal life. One day he will have a career and a job,” reported Vanity Fair The same came to light following their first official tour of Australia when insiders reveal they do not wish for a lavish princely lifestyle for their son. Just as the Duke had branched out to be his own person, they wished the same for their son as well.
An outlet from the Sunday Times had quoted the anonymous source saying, “the word ‘normal’ looms very large for Harry and Meghan…” This said it specifically applied to the situation where they were concerned about their child’s future. Nonetheless, after having witnessed their tell-all docuseries, the couple has somewhat manifested the life they had always wanted for their kids.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle had their first child while living in the palace
Archie who was due the following spring would have been the seventh in line to Succession having the Queen as the Monarch. Markle gave birth to her first the following year in the month of May. Although Markle wished for a home delivery, they were taken to the Portland Hospital in central London in a cloak-and-dagger operation. He was the only one of their two children who was raised to a point inside the Palace premises.
Unlike her sister, Lilibet Diana, Archie has a hang of what it feels like to reside in Kensington Palace. Lilibet on the other hand was born after the Sussexes had crossed the pool, in the Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital in the year, 2021.
