Despite the murders and missing dating back decades, the victims never truly got justice. The reason why true crime documentaries garner so much attention lies in the horrifying fact that they are based on real events. And so is the case with the Texas Killing Fields that still remain open and dangerous as ever.

The truth behind ‘The Texas Killing Fields’ in Netflix’s latest documentary?

Akin to how the OTT Mughal released the hit docuseries Conversations With A Killer, The Texas Killing Fields is also a part of a docuseries. It is produced by the renowned filmmaker Joe Berlinger, also the mastermind behind Intent To Destroy: Death, Denial, and Deception and Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil, and Vile.

The reason why the series will give you the creeps is that it does not revolve around a living person who had lost all elements of what it meant to be human but around a piece of land.

Since the 1970s, 30 murder victims have fallen victim to murders in the Texas Killing Field. However, there are many more that have gone missing. As explored in the docuseries, many, including the families of the victims, believe that there is more than one serial killer. Moreover, if apart from the curious searchers, a psychopath with an intent to kill were to search ‘Best Place to Get Away with a murder’ they would be directed to the Texas Killing Fields. The docuseries brings to light the stories of the families of the many victims. Those who were once suspected, only to be proven not guilty, lost their lives. Check out the series on Netflix.
