Did Priyanka Chopra just snub the Royals at Wimbledon?

The Quantico actress recently attended the Wimbledon women’s final. The actress made headlines not only for looking stunning but also for her supposed snub of the Royals. A video of the royal box at Wimbledon where Priyanka Chopra is seen fixing her scarf as everyone stood up to applaud the entrance of Prince William and Kate Middleton.

Furthermore, the actress, who was seated only two rows behind the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, did not look at the Royals for the rest of the game. Many fans believe that the actress has done so in order to show support to her friend Meghan Markle. Not long ago, a video of Prince William repeatedly fixing his scarf while trying to ignore Meghan Markle went viral. Whether it is unclear if Chopra witnessed the awkward moment, the fact that the actress cares more about her scarf than welcoming the Royals is pretty clear.

This is just one of the many times the Quantico actress has shown her strong friendship with Meghan Markle. When Wendy Williams introduced Meghan Markle as “Price Harry’s girlfriend,” Chopra did not have it.

“Also Meghan Markle, actress, Suits, her achievements…just saying,” the former Ms. World was quick to correct.

While there had been no official declaration then, Harry & Meghan Netflix documentary reveals that Kate Middleton and Prince William had been formal and disregarded Markle’s attempt at forming a close bond. Even without the revelation, Priyanka’s “scarf-move” scored some major points with the audience, who applauded her for her constant support to her friend. Priyanka Chopra may not have technically stood up for her friend, but she did scarf-up for her.
