Prince William has been put off by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Netflix trailer. The first installment of the controversial docuseries Harry & Meghan will be airing on December 08. Netflix released the first trailer on December 01 while they dropped another teaser on December 05. The two clips have made it clear that the Sussexes’ would not mince words while talking about their terrible experience in the House of Windsor.

It is claimed that the docuseries will be an extension of the bombshell Oprah Winfrey interview that aired last year. However, unlike the last time, Prince William has this time decided to fight head-on with his younger brother and sister-in-law. The Prince of Wales is planning to give a strict back-off warning to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle if they spew lies regarding the royal family in the six-part docuseries. 

Prince William’s team to watch Harry & Meghan like hawks

As per a report published in the Express, the insiders have claimed that Prince William and Kate Middleton will be waiting for the docuseries to release before giving any reaction. However, the heir to the throne has made it clear to his senior aides to “issue a swift rebuttal to any dubious claims.” The Prince of Wales will not tolerate any of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s false narratives against the monarchy. 

Further, insiders suggest that for the Duke and Duchess, Buckingham Palace had decided to drop its mantra of never complaining and never explaining. The late Queen Elizabeth II always maintained a dignified silence on any controversies. However, the institution has now decided to apply a “new strategy of meeting controversy head-on rather than letting it fester.”

Meanwhile, it is the timing of the first trailer released by Netflix that angered the future King the most. Prince William believes that it was a low blow by the Sussex royals to cause harm to his official US tour. Prince William and Kate Middleton were there in the United States from November 30 to December 02. However, the talks of the show Harry & Meghan majorly dominated the trip.
