“Hothead” Prince William and “Buddhist Calm” Kate Middleton – Royal Staff Shares Details of the Royal Romance
Given all the recent controversies of the Royal row, we are, by now, very well accustomed to the members of the royal family and their own individual ways of handling stress. When it comes to the Sussexes, they have made it pretty clear that they will fight the world to retain peace within their own space. However, with the Waleses, it is just the opposite. While Prince William and Kate Middleton give in their best efforts to put up the perfect couple facade before the world, it is not quite the same in their own household.
Speaking about the same to Tom Quinn, the author of the latest royal book, ‘Gilded Youth’, a former Palace staff, has a few insights to add. According to the source as reported by Fox news, the Prince and Princess of Wales are not really the perfect loving and calm couple as the world thinks of them. Behind closed doors, “they are just like the rest of us.”

“William and Kate, like all couples, fall out, row, shout at each other, and say unkind things to each other,” writes Quinn as disclosed by the staff. Nonetheless, it all falls back to square one because Kate Middleton is an appeaser by instinct. Being the calmer one always, she puts oils on troubled waters to pacify the situation. Described as a “Buddhist calm” by the author, her ability to handle sensitive matters with utmost care and maturity has been her secret to successfully thriving in the royal family.
However, on the other hand, William “hates confrontations,” writes Tom Quinn. As a polar opposite to that of his wife’s attributes, the next heir to the throne is “the one who is a bit hotheaded.” Due to the lifelong stress of the ultimate responsibility and the obvious childhood mishaps, the Prince usually acts on impulse. And it is not just Tom Quinn, or the anonymous source speaking about the same.

Not only Kate Middleton but Princess Diana and Prince Harry have also felt Prince William in hotheadedness
Back in the day, Princess Diana herself gave him a nickname, which now seems to make sense. And also not to forget Prince Harry’s allegations. As per reports, Late Princess Diana used to call her eldest “Willy Wombat.” This was probably noticing his instincts to give a cold shoulder as the first reaction.
On the other, Prince Harry made it all the more public with his bombshell revelations. One of them was about the physical altercation between him and his elder brother. He wrote in Spare that Prince William had reportedly “knocked him down the floor,” thrashing him into a dog bowl.
