Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Receive Heat Following Princess Lilibet’s Christening Announcement
As days pass, the secrets of the Sussexes and the people associated with the Sussexes, the house they stayed at, the house they will no longer be allowed to stay at, their coronation attendance, and their absence at the coronation, etc., show no signs of their plans to move from center stage. However, a surprise in this monotonous marriage of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle with controversies was the announcement that Lilibet had been christened this past week.
To say that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s daughter’s christening was a huge blow would be unwarranted, but what else does one call the breaking of a century-long tradition of a private christening cherished between the closest that the Royal family has been following? Prince Harry and Meghan Markle get questioned and criticized no matter what they do. However, it seems that netizens were really onto something when they raised questions about Princess Lilibet Diana’s christening.

Netizens have pointed out a few inaccuracies, to say the least, in the christening announcement made by a spokesperson. The most alarming of all being Meghan Markle and Prince Harry mentioning the wrong name of the priest who christened their daughter.
According to the spokesperson’s statement to People magazine, “I can confirm that Princess Lilibet Diana was christened on Friday, March 3 by the Archbishop of Los Angeles, the Rev. John Taylor.” But in a shocking turn of events, Rev. John Taylor has been proven to not be the Archbishop of Los Angeles.

According to GB News, Reverend José H. Gomez is the Archbishop of Los Angeles, and he has not christened the Sussex’s daughter. Whereas Reverend John Taylor is a Bishop of Los Angeles. The Sussexes are yet to give a comment on this supposed mixup.
