With the new trailer release, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have again become easy targets of trolls. Netflix unveiled another one-minute-long glimpse of Harry & Meghan to reveal what the royal fans will see in the first volume of the docuseries releasing on December 08. However, the docuseries has been swarmed with negative reviews because of some major blunders.

In the trailer, the Duke and Duchess have called out the press for making their lives miserable. The Sussexes blamed the media for hounding them, especially Meghan Markle in the United Kingdom. They also showcased some clips to prove their point about the breach of privacy. However, in the trailer, the fans could only see Princess Diana and Kate Middleton getting flocked by paparazzi. There was no single clip of Markle alone being chased by the photographers.

Netflix’s carelessness causes more harm to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle

Seeing no footage of the media surrounding Meghan Markle like they did Princess Diana and Kate Middleton, Twitter users are convinced that the Sussex royals are running a false press-hounding narrative. The royal fans did not shy away from labeling the Duke and Duchess as liars. Moreover, the crown servants also called out the royal couple for using Princess Diana and the new Princess of Wales for the publicity of their docuseries.

Meanwhile, the trailer did have clips of the press following Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. However, Netflix made a major mistake by using the wrong footage. In one of the frames, the American streaming giant has shown dozens of photographers. The picture does not have a relation with the royal family as it was taken in July 2011 during the premiere of Harry Potter in London. 

There is one more clip in the trailer where the cameramen can be seen swarming a car. However, it has also nothing to do with the California-based royals. Instead, the footage is from 2019 when Donald Trump’s lawyer, Michael Cohen, was going for his punishment in jail. The multiple fake pictures in the Netflix show have raised serious questions over the credibility of the content.
