Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s docuseries Harry & Meghan was a painful and teary description of all the mudslinging and family politics that the couple had to go through. However, there were some light moments also as the Duke and Duchess shared their small moments of happiness. One such incident popped up in the last episode of the bombshell series.

Following the explosive Oprah Winfrey interview, Meghan Markle received a heartwarming message from Beyonce. The viewers were all hearts as the former American actress narrated the message, saying, “She said she wants me to feel protected. She admires and respects my bravery and vulnerability. And thinks I was selected to break generational curses that need to be healed.” Though it was an adorable moment, Prince Harry and Markle are being subjected to trolling for their over-the-top reaction.

Twitter calls out Prince Harry and Meghan Markle for doing overacting

Prince Harry squealed in surprise in the episode when Meghan Markle told him about receiving the message from Beyonce. He could not control his excitement and told his wife to call the iconic musician. The Duchess also looked pleasantly surprised with the text as she tried to sink in the fact that the American singer knew who she was. However, the fans were not impressed with the Sussexes’ overboard reactions. They were quick to remind the couple that they had already met Beyonce in 2019 during the premiere of the Lion King

Meghan Markle and Beyonce are known to be good friends. The Duchess had one of the singer’s songs on her wedding playlist in 2018. Meanwhile, in 2019, Beyonce shared an Instagram post that had Markle painted as Mona Lisa. In the caption, the icon lauded the Sussex royal while also congratulating her on her first pregnancy

Moreover, following the Oprah Winfrey interaction, the 41-year-old publicly took a stand for the Suits alum. She posted a sweet note on her website that read, “Thank you, Meghan, for your courage and leadership. We are all strengthened and inspired by you.”
