For the last few hours, the Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle has always been at the headlines in the royal rota taking all hits. Be it the infamous Megxit, or any other big and small controversy that erupted within the Palace, Meghan Markle was the primary subject of heavy public scrutiny for years on end. However, upon closer inspection, in many instances, you would realize that was never really the case. For example, Prince Harry and his indifference to the royal family. 

Although the Duchess was blamed for the humongous rift among the royals, people close to the Duke knew that was not the case. Years before even Markle became a part of the royal family, Prince Harry of Windsor has already made himself quite different from the rest of the herd. As reported by Enews, one of his closest pals once revealed Prince Harry long had plans to separate himself from the royal rigmarole.

“He’s a rich young man; he could decide to kiss goodbye to the whole thing,” affirmed the friend in light of Penny Junor’s 2016 biography on the Duke. Elaborate further, the outlet reveals that although the Prince might not have wished to cut all ties with his family, he has had plans to move away from the institution while still working in affiliation with the UK Sovereign. 

Was Prince Harry able to move out before Megxit?

The biography had yet to add incentives for what Prince Harry could have used to move out of his base years ago. Had he wished, the Duke could have easily got his way away from what he calls the institution. And the acquaintance close to him believe it was all in his fair rights to do so. “He has got enough,” thus just shifting apart from one place to another would have made much difference to the royal diaspora. 

It was also reported that not only Prince Harry but his elder brother as well inherited $16 million each from their late mother, Prince Diana’s estate. Thus he had ”enough money to fly himself to and fro,” said the source in case he chose to render off his royal duties from a distance. However, nothing of that sort happened before his marriage to Meghan Markle. 

As things started to get worse, the Sussexes realized it was time to move out, which marked the beginning of an unending rift between the royal family.
