Post Award Ceremony, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Announce Collaboration of Archewell and Robert F Kennedy Human Rights

Following their tradition, the Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights hosted their annual Ripple of Hope Gala in New York on December 06, 2022. The event hosted by the non-profit organization was extra special this year, as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were one of the awardees. The Duke and Duchess were handed the prestigious honor for calling out the structural racism in the House of Windsor without caring about the consequences of going against one of the oldest institutions in the United Kingdom.

Apart from the Sussexes, Volodymyr Zelensky, Michael Polsky, Bill Russell, Frank Baker, and Brian Moynihan were the other winners. However, it was only the royal couple who received a mixed response. Several royal experts called out the organization for giving Prince Harry and Meghan Markle an award for their lies against the royal family. The Sussex couple is not fazed by the criticism as they continue working towards the welfare of humankind. They impressed the people by collaborating with the Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights organization.

Following the glorious award ceremony that saw over 1,000 people in attendance, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced their decision to join hands with the Kennedy family. The couple’s non-profit organization Archewell Foundation is partnering with the Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights to come up with a new category of award in the annual Speak Truth to Power student contest. With the Archewell Foundation Award for Gender Equity in Student Film, the Sussexes are encouraging students from all across the globe to make videos to highlight the women who are breaking the stereotypes and uplifting the community.

Students have to showcase the journey of women human rights defenders in a video of about three to five minutes. The couple is expecting the submissions by April 26, 2023. The winner of the contest will be honored at the 2023 Tribeca Festival event in New York.
