It’s almost a cliche to say that a house is a character in a television program. The lakeside mansion has served as a crucial touchstone for the Byrde family (headed by Jason Bateman and Laura Linney) as they launder money for a Colombian drug gang in a Missouri tourist town over the course of three-and-a-half spectacular seasons.
In a new Netflix clip, the cast takes viewers behind the scenes of the Emmy-winning Netflix series to share their greatest experiences and highlight how much the location has meant to them ahead of the last set of episodes.
Sofia Hublitz, who plays teen daughter Charlotte, adds, “The house has always been constant and consistent in the story … It signifies their unity and togetherness as a family.”
Sofia’s onscreen brother Skylar feels really “bizarre” as he is walking in the last time. Skylar then shares how this house and the show were an actual growing stage for him. He was just 12-13 years old when he was cast in the show. So, the Byrde house was actually a second home to him.
Skylar then takes us around the house one last time, sharing important scenes that took place throughout the house, including Buddy walking down the lake to go skinny dipping which he remarks is “the most iconic moment of the series.”

Putting the Midwest aside, the 2,513-square-foot split-level home is notable for its midcentury architecture and abundance of floor-to-ceiling windows. It is situated on a large 1.27-acre lot on Gaines Ferry Road in Flowery Branch, Georgia.
Stream in on April 29th to bid you farewell to this beautiful house as Ozark streams its last batch of episodes only on Netflix.
