Jamie Campbell Bower recently joined Tommy DiDario on his podcast I’ve Never Said This Before to drop some tantalizing hints about the upcoming final season of Stranger Things. "If you thought that Stranger Things 4 was nuts, this season is just out of control, wild, like it’s bonkers," Bower teased, struggling to find the right words to capture the chaos that awaits viewers. Bower recalled how he could still follow the developments last year, but this year has left him in awe.
Bower explained how Stranger Things provided him with a unique opportunity to rediscover his character, Henry Creel, better known as Vecna. He mentioned that watching Stranger Things: The First Shadow play in London, which delved into Henry's backstory before his introduction in season 4, allowed his character to evolve in season 5. Furthermore, he also highlighted the meticulous attention to detail in season 5, which he believes surpasses that of the fourth installment.
Bower also hinted at the current progress of filming, and how close the final season is to completion.

During his conversation with Tommy DiDario on I’ve Never Said This Before, Jamie Campbell Bower provided an update on the progress of filming for Stranger Things, considering the recent delays. DiDario inquired whether the filming was complete or if they still had a long way to go this summer. Bower confirmed that they have indeed completed a significant amount of filming this summer.
The actor went on to explain that despite their progress, there is still much more to be done before Stranger Things 5 is ready for fans. Bower emphasized that they are still scheduled to be "locked down" for some time, as the show aims for a chaotic finale. This could likely explain why he struggled to find the right words when describing season 5, as fans may experience similar reactions once the finale is released.
