The recently released behind-the-scenes clip of One Piece from Netflix opens with Iñaki Godoy screaming that he is “the god of stunts” and flying off into oblivion. As the clip goes on, the actor revealed that he had to do “a lot of stunt training” and learned to “use wires” to deliver the impeccable the fight scenes. Add some VFX to that, and his rubbery antics surfaced just like that.

Meanwhile, Mackenyu, who plays Zoro by wielding not one but three swords with ease, was deemed an “impressive swordsman” by show-runner Steven Maeda. After his recent fabulous photoshoot, his sword-fighting skills left fans mesmerized once again.

But one actor who faced the most impossible challenge was Sanji actor Taz Skyler. This is because his character always considered himself a chef first and a martial arts maestro second.

For Sanji, protecting the hands that he cooks with takes priority over fighting. So, for Taz Skyler, the only weapon he could use was his feet. And boy, did he champion that challenge in style. Through a mix of Capoeira, break-dancing and 8-10 hours of grueling practice each day, the 27-year-old mastered the art of kicking. On the other hand, for Emily Rudd, the stunts were a piece of cake.

With her background in Karate, Rudd who once claimed to be born to play Nami, took to the Bo Staff naturally. Her skills even impressed the stunt double as she learned to use her weapon like a pro!
