However, years after its release, the 2017 flick has finally found its audience. The film topped the Netflix charts by being in the number 2 position. It stands just below The Last Kingdom: Seven Kings Must Die and above Arnold Schwarzenegger’s The Last Stand. While some movies tank on the big screens, they become a good entertainer for a binge watch.

The Snowman not only bombed at the box office, but it also received a 6% rating by Rotten Tomatoes. Both critics and the audience considered it to be a massive failure. To top it, it managed to earn a mere $43.1 million. The film was barely profitable considering the production cost of $43.1 million. There were some behind the scene production issues as well. 15% of the screenplay was reportedly skipped out because of rushed production and time shortage. Moreover, some of Val Kilmer’s dialogues were dubbed because of his throat cancer.

While it is trending, it is likely that the ones who watched it were left unimpressed.
