“Not very pleasant to be a D-list celebrity” – Royal Expert Reacts on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Hunt for New Home
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are currently on a hunt for new adobe for their little family. It was in 2020 that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, along with their son Archie, moved to a $14 million mansion in Montecito. The residence oozes royalty and luxury with nine bedrooms, rose gardens, a children’s cottage, 16 bathrooms, a swimming pool, a tennis court, and beautiful olive trees. Harry and Meghan have now planned to move to a private estate in Hope Ranch.
The houses in Hope Ranch are nothing less than palaces as they offer various private amenities. By buying a property in the coastal suburb of Santa Barbara, the Sussexes will become neighbors to some of the influential and richest personalities of California. The news of Harry and Meghan buying a new estate has not gone well with many royal experts, and Tina Brown is one of them.

The royal author takes a jibe at Harry and Meghan to search for a new home
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are looking for larger and greener pastures in Hope Ranch. The couple has justified their decision to move out from Montecito by saying that the mansion no longer caters to the needs of them and their two children, Archie and Lilibet. Speaking about the same, the royal biographer Tina Brown took a dig saying that the Sussexes need a luxurious mansion to make a place in Hollywood.
She believes that at present Harry and Meghan do not match the standards of the film fraternity and are categorized as D-list celebrities. Thus, by flaunting money, they will be able to project themselves better.

“It’s not very pleasant to be a D-list celebrity who, for them, doesn’t have enough money. In Montecito, where they live, their $14 million mansion is a humble cottage compared to what these other people have,” Tina Brown said as quoted by Telegraph.
Further, The Palace Papers’ author also passed a mean remark on the Duchess of Sussex. She jokingly added that Meghan might be wanting to change more than just the house in the near future. Brown was referring to the relationship between the royal couple.
