Prince Harry and Prince William might have gone their separate ways as of now. However, there was a time away from all family feuds and disturbances when the Royal brothers were the closest to each other. After having lost their mother, Princess Diana to a tragic car accident and with a father all swamped with the Palace’s duties, all they had was each other. In times of tragedy and despair, the vulnerable brothers were susceptible to various media traps and scandals just like their parents. Nonetheless, they were able to come out of it clean.
Speaking of Royal sandals, the ones which top the list to this day are the infamous tampon-gate and squidgy-gate. While one almost destroyed the then-Prince Charles’ future as the King, the other unveiled ghastly transcripts between Princess Diana and one of her many boyfriends. Nonetheless, that was not it. The ravaging media did the same to their children although the kids did not have anything for them to spin.
UK tabloids had hacked Prince Harry and Prince William’s phone calls
Along with King Charles and Princess Diana, both Prince Harry and Prince William’s phone calls were hacked with the same intention to get spicy royal news out on the front page. The boys were of course startled by the same; however, they had grown quite accustomed to the drama by then.
“The scandal began in 2005, when Rupert Murdoch’s News of the World tabloid hacked into the voice mails of Prince Harry and Prince William.“ By @sarahellison, 2/6/13 1/ https://t.co/fB7EGV0l6N

As reported by various trusted sources, eight years ago, Britain’s one of most explosive phone hacking scandals began with the future King to the throne, Prince William. It became evident when soon after the juvenile Prince and one of his editor-friends were done discussing some project, the same news appeared on the front page of News of the World daily.
Who were the ones behind the entire scandal?
Not once, or twice but the then Duke of Cambridge was hacked nearly 9 times by the accused Clive Goodman and the entire department that intercepted the Prince’s phone calls. Not only him, but the youngest was also not spared of any indignation. Some intimate phone calls with his ex-girlfriend, Chelsy Davy, had been leaked, however, did not see any daylight and the Palace did its best to keep it under the covers.
However, sometime later the News of the World correspondent issued apologies to both brothers and there has never been a similar incident in the United Kingdom forever hence.
