Ever since the Markle family secured ties with the royal family of Britain, controversies have become as common as muck. From days prior to her marriage to Prince Harry up until this day, Meghan Markle’s extended family has been exactly what the media would never miss a chance on making public. The Thomas Markle picture-selling scandal is no secret to royal spectators. However, there is more than what meets the eye. 

As reported by Daily Mail, son to Thomas Markle, who is supposedly Meghan Markle’s half brother, was also involved in unethical activities back in the day. While the Markles’ association with boozes and bust-ups is not a new fact, news reports also had it that the member of the family had also succumbed to bankruptcy. 

Thomas Markle Jnr, who is the second born of Meghan’s father, now above 50, had various charges filed under his name. Been declared bankrupt once, the twice divorced half brother to Meghan Markle had also faced gun charges against him. Professionally, he is a cameraman, laborer, handyman, and a glass fitter, as reported by the outlet.

Having lacked some basic financial skills, Thomas Jnr filed for bankruptcy in 2013. He accrued a €1,868 debt while having nothing left with him to repay. Adding to all the above, he also has a record of “menacing domestic violence” in his personal life.

Markle Jr has even given interviews about his Duchess sister and her husband, Prince Harry. In an instance, he once claimed the Duke had met their father in the past and that it prompted “an unsavory spate of mud-slinging with his elder sister,” Samantha Markle.

However, no one from the family has the same story. While disputes between Samantha Markle and Meghan Markle were quite known to everyone, we hardly knew of the strained ties between Samantha and Thomas Jnr. In a reply to the same, Markle’s half-sister defied the brother’s claim and alleged that no such meeting between Prince Harry and their father ever took place. 

The strained ties within the broken family have been clear to everyone since day one. However, the House of Markle is quite full of dreaded surprises for an actress-turned Duchess to bear with.
