It was not the first time that there was a showdown between Prince Harry and Prince William. In his memoir Spare, the Duke of Sussex has detailed an incident from 2019 where the future king knocked him down and called Meghan Markle a rude and abrasive woman. The ugly brawl left Prince Harry shocked, but his wife was not the first person to know about the entire fiasco.

As per Guardian, detailing the horrific episode in his memoir, Prince Harry mentioned that following the departure of his brother from Nottingham Cottage, he immediately called his therapist. Notably, the Duke had taken medical help for the first time as a young adult to deal with the trauma of his mother’s death. Meanwhile, Meghan Markle came to know about the brawl sometime later as she noticed bruises and scrapes on Prince’s back. The Duchess was neither surprised nor angry by the incident, but it left her terribly sad.

In his book, which is set to release on January 10, the Duke of Sussex has shared intimate details of what led to a physical fight between the two brothers in 2019. Prince William visited his brother to discuss “the whole rolling catastrophe” of their relationship. However, the Prince of Wales did not come in a good mood and a disagreement between him and Prince Harry angered with further.

“He grabbed me by the collar, ripping my necklace. And knocked me to the floor. I landed on the dog’s bowl, which cracked under my back, the pieces cutting into me,” Prince wrote while describing the events of the day.
