In the debate of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry vs the royal family, Kate Middleton played a very important role if the Sussex’s Oprah interview, docuseries, and memoir are anything to go by. One of the most jarring confessions that was made by Markle, falling second only to the royal family’s supposed racism and concerns regarding the baby’s skin, was that Kate Middleton had her in tears a few days before the wedding. Middleton found herself the target of haters after the interview. However, that was only a light drizzle compared to what was about to hit her.

Just as expected, the Harry & Meghan docuseries once again dwelled into the Sussex’s relationship with the Cambridges. And one of the most jarring confessions turned out to be Markle saying that Kate Middleton found her hug “jarring“ and perhaps she was not a hugger. This led to the Internet digging up a plethora of evidence to support the Princess of Wales.

Kate Middleton debunks Meghan Markle’s claims through her actions

The royal family has held onto their stiff upper lip more strongly than ever as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle continue to shake up them and the world with their confessions. And Kate Middleton, who is now the Princess of Wales, being a pivotal part of the Royal family willingly or unwillingly, has to do the same. On their first visit as the Prince and Princess of Wales to the National Maritime Museum in Cornwall, Middleton was surprised by former teacher Jim Embury as reported by Mirror.

During such times, Middleton has truly signified that actions speak louder than words as she debunks Markle’s claims of her not being a hugger by embracing her ex-history teacher. This moment is just among many others where Middleton has proven to be quite the contrary to Meghan Markle’s description.

The Harry & Meghan docuseries has allowed fans to see the royal family through the Sussex’s eyes. And while Prince William and Kate Middleton do not have a Netflix docuseries out yet, they are as much in the spotlight as the Sussexes. One instance where Middleton hugged someone cannot be used to establish that Meghan Markle is a liar.

In the same way that Kate Middleton cannot be believed to not be a hugger just because Markle said so in her docuseries. While the catfight seems to be in the limelight, it is important to note that both Markle and Middleton are established and influential women who are using their platforms to give back to the world.
