According to Tudum’s report, Nonnas follows Joe (Vince Vaughn), who resorts to their time-honored family recipes after the loss of his mother and grandmother. He utilizes the money from his mom’s insurance, and with a bit of help from his friends, he launches Enoteca Maria, an old-school Italian restaurant. However, the interesting part is Enoteca Maria staffs four grandmothers or “nonnas” from various Italian cities.

Yet, in the journey for rediscovery, the four nonnas—Roberta, Antonella, Teresa, and Gia—despite being on the other side, are equally affected by the restaurant and its potential.
