Nevertheless, it came and went like a beautiful dream that was never meant to be true. Since James Gunn has new plans for DC Universe and he has made it evident that massive changes are coming. He recently tweeted that they are writing a new Superman story that will follow his earlier life, therefore, no Cavill in it. Well, Well! No Superman? No Problem! The British actor is now gearing up for another geeky adaptation, this time picking the tabletop game Warhammer.

Henry Cavill is finally ready to live his nerd dream with the Warhammer series 

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Henry Cavill is set to star and produce a series based on Warhammer 40,000, the most popular miniature wargame in the world. The 39-year-old star is crazy about the game as we have seen him carving those little miniatures. He has spent most of his pandemic lockdown in this geek hobby so it might be exciting for the Immortals star.

This show will be handled by Amazon, who has been negotiating the rights of the game for months now. Although the company has not confirmed anything about the deal but with a newly freed-up Henry Cavill, anything is possible.

Warhammer 40,000 is a spectacular tabletop game of dark warfare set in the 42nd century where humanity stands alone. According to the website description, humans have no option but to battle it out against hostile aliens and supernatural monsters. The first edition of this epic game was first launched in 1987 while the current edition was released in July 2020.
