Amidst promoting Warfare, Kit Connor took a quick breather to drop a few thoughts on Heartstopper’s future, giving fans a sharp, no-nonsense answer that left them buzzing.

In an interview with The Cut, Kit Connor opened up about the future of Heartstopper, revealing that he is ready to wrap things up when the time comes. While he did not drop any details about the upcoming film, he emphasized that both he and the team would want to avoid dragging it on unnecessarily. He humorously pointed out, "You don’t want to see Olivia Colman driving a 30-year-old" to school.

 Kit Connor already hinted that Heartstopper is nearing its final page. Alice Oseman has previously confirmed the upcoming film would be the last chapter, but Connor’s not getting all teary-eyed. In fact, he revealed Heartstopper was not even the project that helped him grow the most (plot twist: two other roles take that trophy). Still, do not cry into your milkshake just yet—there is a final hurrah coming. There is still hope for fans with an upcoming film that will wrap up all the loose ends.
