Half a decade down the lane, the Netflix fantasy series started fans on a supernatural Nostalgia with a hint of gruesomeness and eeriness in it, only to intensify on the eerie part with every season. And now, almost 7 years and a generation of childhood after its very first season, Stranger Things 5 is impending upon each one of us to conclude the supernaturally laden storylines.

While Netflix is taking its time to curate a season that naturally has higher expectations both from the cast and the fandom. A brand new season 5 fan-made poster takes the fanbase back to its origin story.

A Twitter fan page going by the name Stranger News posted a new poster for the much-awaited concluding season of the series, captioning, “ORIGIN. FINAL SEASON.” And over 24 hours it has caused an Upside Down effect amongst the community. If we look at the intrinsic details of what is provided, two things are very obvious- Firstly, it has Millie Bobby Brown’s younger version. Secondly, Vecna has his sinister limbs wrapped around her neck as a stream of blood flows down Eleven’s nose and she stares right at the viewer cathartically.

And well, this would certainly remind anyone of the Stranger Things 4’s year-old end credit scene wherein Vecna made it explicitly clear that it is both the beginning and the end. And while stars like Millie Bobby Brown and Gatten Matarazzo had ideas about their character’s final season; we perhaps cannot even speculate, let alone state what awaits us in the name of season 5.

Notably, Twitterati did just the same. Instead of giving in to various speculations, they just asked for one thing- a release date.
