The royal family has come past way too aggravated controversies to recover from. Each time the family moves a step ahead to keep up with the world’s pace, a royal scandal strikes again, be it of the past or the present. Likewise, an unforgettable incident that has stained royal history for decades has its roots in Nazism. While exploring the Duke’s history, The Crown has run back to one most controversial moments of his life. The upcoming sixth season and reportedly the finale of the show is said to rub salt on the Nazi Scandal by the Prince. The cast and crew have been in works to bring back the stirring aftermath of the Duke’s choice of costume. As reported by People, the Netflix hit is all for showing the Press intrusion into the scandal led to a catastrophic spiral of things.
Men carrying newspapers with the front pages bashing the Duke for his actions have been on the go. The replica of the chaos created back then is supposed to be recreated for the viewers to this day.

According to age-old reports, the Duke was once spotted wearing a nazi uniform at a house party. While the backstory of the incident remained unknown all this while, UK tabloids and media had taken their opportunity to defame the Prince.

However, it was not until the Duke described the actual incident that the majority of his opponents considered him “the Nazi Prince”. He made it clear in one of his excerpts of Spare that it was merely a costume party in 2005 amongst him and his young blood pals. In fact, it was none other than his elder brother, Prince William, and Kate Middleton, who suggested the Duke go for that costume. Nonetheless, he took accountability for his own naivety.
