Netflix’s Reed Hastings on Elon Musk Buying Twitter and Helping the Word- “He could’ve built a mile-long…”

Following the acquisition of the home to all the gossip and drama in the Hollywood industry by Elon Musk, we were met with tons of changes. From paid blue tick and the Tesla owner cutting down almost half of the workforce and also dealing with almost the entire platform parodying him, the negative reviews have piled up for the businessman.

Not just users but also businessmen have mocked the way Musk pointed out the problems that Twitter was facing since the takeover. However, one of America’s biggest billionaires has come out in support of Elon Musk.

Reed Hastings praises Elon Musk

If there is an app that has mastered the art of service, it is Netflix. The streaming platform knows how to deliver every month of the year and even every week of the month. Apart from Netflix beating everyone in the streaming sector, it also remains relevant to other social media services through its releases. And a lot of the credit for making Netflix as big as it is goes to Reed Hastings. At the New York Times Dealbook summit, the genius businessman sat down to answer tons of questions.

The co-CEO of Netflix not only gave details about what the future of the streaming service is going to look like, but also on what he thinks of the whole Elon Musk ordeal. Much like anything involving social media, the opinions on Elon Musk’s acquisition of the platform are again divided into two.

But despite the narrative, everyone can agree on the fact that the Tesla owner has taken a huge initiative towards sustaining freedom of speech. But contrary to the usual opinions of the businessman, who has deemed that Musk has set himself up for disaster, the co-CEO of Netflix seems to think otherwise.

Despite the initial mishaps, Mark Reed believes with all his heart that Elon Musk knows what he is doing. “Elon Musk is the bravest, most creative person on this planet,” said Hastings. However, the billionaire did accept the fact that the way the Tesla owner does things is very unconventional and he would definitely not carry things out in the same way. But this only adds to the fact that Elon Musk is not afraid of being who he is. That said, he is on the side that believes that Elon Musk is a smart investor and did not buy Twitter just to watch it mimic Titanic.
