Netflix’s New ‘Revelations’ Makes Major Promises With ‘Hellbound’ Creators
Despite the unsteady nature of most things in the cinematic verse, Netflix has since a long time retained the ability to churn out golden content irrespective of the language, yet specializing in the thriller genre. This made it the streaming bible for the massive K-Drama fan base, and it seems like the OTT mogul wants to add one more jewel to its crown using the tried and tested Hellbound creators.
One of the most proclaimed series on Netflix in the thriller and horror department, Hellbound, may not be making the comeback that fans dreamed of, but the iconic duo of its creators and Netflix definitely is.

It was in 2021 that viewers were first introduced to the dark themes of Hellbound only to be left forever spellbound. The drama was so spectacular that despite the long waiting window, Netflix has gotten the show on the road for a second season. However, squeezing every last bit of gold, the streamer has also brought back Yeon Sang-ho, writer Choi Gyu-seok, and executive producer Alfonso Cuarón, better known as the creators of Hellbound, for a new project, Revelations.
While not much is known of the project of yet, apart from the heavyweight creators associated with it, the hype is unsurprisingly unprecedented. The trailblazing trio that created Hellbound, is expected to recreate the same magic, for the third time. However, the names of the actors associated are not out yet.
Given that Hellbound Season 2 is currently in the works, it will be a while before Revelations will greet us. But the fanbase losing interest is not something the creators need to break a sweat about as the plot will have viewers in a chokehold for a while.

Along with the identity of the magic makers, Netflix has also revealed the plot of its upcoming title, Revelations. In this new attempt to enrich its Asian catalog, which also entails new anime titles such as Blood of Zeus, the creators will take the best of both worlds, horror, and thriller, and combine it into a gripping narrative about a pastor and a detective. The upcoming show is based on the 2022 comic of the same name by Yeon and Choi.
According to the tidbits that Netflix has dropped, the story will revolve around a pastor who believes in his divine calling, which also involves him punishing the culprit of a missing person case. The protagonist is likely the detective, who is in charge of the case with the catch being that he has visions of his own. Whether this new title will exceed Hellbound is unclear, but fans are seated for this upcoming adventure.
