Netflix’s ‘Cobra Kai’ Send-off Season Begins Production With Cast Promising a ‘Banger’ of a Last Installment
A galore of shocking twists and unexpected alliances, Netflix’s Cobra Kai reignites the nostalgic flames of ’80s martial arts glory with a fresh and thrilling perspective. In a video shared by Discussing Film on X (previously Twitter), the cast of the legendary series announced in collaboration that the series has begun filming. William Zabka remarked that the “wait is over” as Peyton List announced that she was headed to “Atlanta“. Xolo Maridueña who plays Miguel remarked that fans can expect a “banger”. Meanwhile, Martin Kove who portrays John Kreese promised “lots of surprises”.
Well, these massive claims are bound to make already eager fans intrigued as to the twists coming in season 6! It was revealed earlier that the final season will have ten episodes. Considering that it is supposed to carry the longest run-time of all previous seasons, the shooting may take a while. However, the show is aiming for a 2024 release still!

William Zabka, who gained fame for his portrayal of Johnny Lawrence in The Karate Kid and its sequel, is almost 60 but defies age expectations like a champ. His nuanced performance as a reformed antagonist in Cobra Kai has made him a fan-favorite character. A few days ago, he shared a clip to his X page that proved that his dojo is still intact and that Silver might need to watch out in season 6!

He definitely means business judging by those impressive kicks and punches. Having reluctantly combined his skills with Daniel’s to combat Silver’s growing influence in the previous seasons, viewers expect the Miyagi-Do Eagle Fang that he is one-half of to take center stage now. Considering the promised surprises in the recent video, it appears that a plot twist may be on the horizon for his character and others!
