Netflix to Get ‘Spy-ful’ as Jason Bourne is Soon Bringing Its Action to the Streaming Service
Who among the Gen Z would not celebrate the homecoming of a power-packed action thriller with bursts of unexpected wit and expertly blending genres? Well, if not all, most of us will. So if you are among the thriller lovers and a Netflix junkie, we are here to bring a big, fat grin to your face. Jason Bourne movies, along with the entire package of grit and intrigue, are soon to land on Netflix’s platform.
According to the newest updates from What’s on Netflix, the spy trilogy starring Matt Damon will debut on the streaming service on 11 April 2023. This means Netflix subscribers across the globe will be able to enjoy the edgy yarn through their respective Netflix subscriptions.
That said, for those who have no clue about the heart-pounding crusade, the movies manifest the journey of the titular character, Jason Bourne, first created by the novelist Robert Ludlum as he tears down the crooked system that created him. The dynamic interpretations of Ludlum’s novels consist of three entries, namely, The Bourne Identity, The Bourne Supremacy, and The Bourne Ultimatum. While the latter movies went on to become critical darlings and the franchise took a marked upturn, its first entry gave its fair share as well.

Hitting the big screen back in 2002, The Bourne Identity is the very first installment of the trilogy. Although it has a basic Amnesia plot with its hero found in a boat with a plethora of bullet scars on his body, his journey is that of intrigue and sets the perfect plot for the sequel. Speaking of sequels, The Bourne Supremacy (2004) follows its titular character, who is now peacefully situated in India with his girlfriend, until someone maps him out for a series of murders.
Lastly, the third installment in the trilogy sees James Bourne digging all that he can about his past and the Operation Treadstone program he was a part of before the secret agency, that he aims to destroy, destroys all the evidence of its wrongdoings. Needless to say, the three movies are equal parts brains and brawn. And you can now stream them on Netflix, only on April 11th.
