The Crown has established itself among Netflix’s favorite shows throughout its remarkable five seasons. The series is a beautiful blend of fiction, facts, and real-world connections of the British Royal Family. Viewers around the globe have remained attached to it because it gave insights into what supposedly goes behind those high golden walls. However, fans will soon have to bid farewell to it as the show will conclude with season 6 which is not too far away now.

The Crown takes the path of Stranger Things and The Witcher 

The upcoming season 6 of The Crown will set itself apart from previous seasons in several ways. First, this will be the last one where fans get to dive into the lives of royals. And second, it marks the first time the show will arrive on screens after the passing of Queen Elizabeth II. Now the latest trailer that dropped on social media recently has added a new distinction to it. It revealed the historical drama will air in two parts.

The first installment of episodes will arrive on the streaming giant on  16 November followed by the last batch on December 14. Besides this, two creators have also rolled out two posters and in one part they have recreated the famous swimsuit shot of Princess Diana. As for the second one, it featured Imelda Staunton, who played the role of the monarch.

Notably, Netflix applied the same approach with this show as they did with Stranger Things and The Witcher. Through this strategy, the company has been trying to keep fans attached to the platform while waiting to unveil the ultimate moments.

Season 5 picked up from 1990, which was a very dark phase for the Royal Family, and explored Charles and Diana’s separation. Now season 6 will feature Princess Diana’s tragic death took place in a car accident in Paris in 1997. Executive producers Andy Harries and Suzanne Mackie have assured they have handled this incident carefully. Apart from this, the show will take fans into the early 2000s and depict the romance between Prince William and Kate Middleton.

The cast of the show is Elizabeth Debicki will be Princess Diana, Rufus Kampa and Ed McVey, as Prince William, and Meg Bellamy will portray Kate Middleton. Also, Luther Ford will play Prince Harry, Lesley Manville as Princess Margaret, and Jonathan Pryce as Prince Philip.
