Netflix Takes a Stand in the Decades-Long Semi-feud Between Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone
The rivalry between Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger is perhaps one of the most protracted running feuds in Hollywood. Back in the 80s and 90s, both actors starred in some blockbusters featuring no-end explosions and top-class action. Not only were they the kings of the action genre, but the stars were also incredibly competitive. Even today, the debate about which actor is better is still a topic of contention among film buffs.
Schwarzenegger and Stallone’s decade-long semi-feud has been a treat to watch. Their relationship trajectory is no less than a rollercoaster. From fierce rivals to dear friends, the duo have come a long way from where they started. However, after all these years, Netflix seems to have finally taken a stand on the decade-long question.

It seems like Netflix has finally picked its winner in the Schwarzenegger vs. Stallone question. The streamer has settled the debate as it will no longer provide Stallone’s finest film, Rocky, on its platform. Netflix Tudum recently shared a list of shows and movies that will not continue to stream after the end of September. And making to the list is sadly the entire Rocky franchise, set to bid goodbye from the platform by September 30.
Meanwhile, on the other hand, Arnold Schwarzenegger has been strengthening ties with Netflix. A while ago, the streaming platform released the much anticipated documentary series on the Austrian Oak. In addition to that, the Terminator star also made his television debut with Netflix’s recent release, FUBAR. Elsewhere, Schwarzenegger is all set to return for a sequel of the same.
While Schwarzenegger will be delivering some hit projects with Netflix, Stallone has always been very vocal about his stand on streaming platforms.
