Netflix keeps finding ways to re-innovate itself. From giving its audience old classics, to brand-new blockbusters from various genres, the streaming giant has continually surprised its fans. But after being on a roll with all their latest releases, the streaming platform made a stark revelation recently. With action-packed films and chick flicks that leave their watchers in tears taking up their library, it was time to downsize.

Another set of films was going to be removed from the library. However, two films stood out from the rest as they have been adored by fans for years.

After stunning the world with their latest live adaptation of One Piece, Netflix decided it was time to say goodbye to a few films from their long list. While this has been a regular occurrence for the streaming giant, fans are not too pleased. However, that may have something to do with the fact that the films being removed include the Batman and Fast and Furious franchises. The streaming giant announced that The Dark Knight, which came out in 2008 and Paul Walker’s Fast and Furious films would no longer be available to stream from November 1st.

The franchise grossed somewhere around $6 billion over the years and the Batman franchise grossed about a million. Together, it brings their gross earnings to over $7 billion. However, that does not seem to be enough to entice the media company, and it may come as a shock that Netflix is willing to drop some of the biggest movies of the 2000s. While fans were not too happy, there was not much to be said.
