Bloomberg recently rolled out an exclusive report regarding the new business venture of Netflix. Titled Netflix House, these will be retail stores where fans can shop for clothing, eat food, and engage with their favorite shows and movies. The experience will be more like theme parks where people get to play games and have fun. But these franchises will be special because fans will get to take part in activities inspired by shows like Squid Game, Stranger Things, and Bridgerton.

The first two stores will open in the US in 2025 and will expand into other parts of the world later. Every store will feature varying installations, including ticketed shows and restaurants offering a wide range of meals and desserts. Josh Simon, Netflix’s vice president, noted that people love living out their favorite shows in real life. “We’ve been thinking a lot about how we take that to the next level,” added Simon.

Streaming became fun with the pop-up restaurant

In July this year, Netflix announced the launch of a pop-up restaurant in Los Angeles called Netflix Bites. The first look of the diner was shared on social media which went perfectly with the company’s theme. The eatery featured creations from chefs that fans often watched in shows available on the streamer. Located in the Short Stories Hotel in West Hollywood, it is a screen-to-table experience that gives fans a taste of the world that is only attainable on camera.

The pop-up opens all days of the week from 5 to 10 PM and also offers brunch on Saturday and Sunday. Reservations for the visit are open on Resy.com and it costs $25 nonrefundable per person. “As yummy as that’d be, Netflix Bites is strictly an opportunity to taste these chefs’ unique dishes!” the restaurant’s website says.
