Netflix Releases the First Look for the Final Half of ‘The Crown’
Netflix seems to know exactly how to rile up its audiences. Especially fans of The Crown. With the first half of the series final season up, the streamer gave the world something else to look forward to. While the streaming giant also told fans that the second part of the series would be out by December 14, 2013, they also gave the world the first look at the epic conclusion.
After getting to watch the tragic story of Princess Diana’s death once more, fans have been left reeling. However, with a season already so gripping, some cannot wait to see what the next part holds.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Netflix’s official UK and Ireland page shared the first images from the show’s final part. From the late Queen Elizabeth to Prince Phillip and even a glimpse of Camilla, the page shared a bit of what fans can expect to see just before Christmas. While the story is sure to have viewers on the edge of their seats, will it be possible for the next part to keep up the level of intrigue?
In fact, it very well might be able to as fans of the show were already getting antsy waiting. Earlier this year, it was announced that the sixth and final season of The Crown would be split into two. While the first part seemed to focus on the aftermath of the former Princess’ death, it also gave the world a glimpse into how the royal family was mourning their loss.
With the first part ending with her sons, Prince William and Prince Harry at her funeral, here is what is in store for the second half of the series.

While the actress who played the fallen royal was given praise for playing her part perfectly, watching the story unfold once again brought up some unresolved emotions for a lot of people. However, with the second part of the final only delving deeper into that, it is sure to be an emotional 4 episodes.
Although the tale is one that has been told numerous times before, the creators of the series have their only way of weaving the story. While fans of the show might have to say goodbye after the episodes drop on December 14th, there was the rumor of a prequel that seemed to stir the pot a while ago.
